  • WHAT IS BLOCKCHAIN?

    Your grandpa thinks it’s a scam and you’ve decided you’ll never understand it, but fear not! Blockchain is not as complicated as it seems -- it’s actually very cool.

    Blockchain is the system that verifies, authenticates, and records all cryptocurrency transactions. It’s the ecosystem that everything that we’ve mentioned above lives on. You might hear blockchain referred to a distributed, public ledger. We know that is not a helpful description. This might be:

    A public blockchain is similar to a database, but is differentiated by a few key attributes.

    Decentralized: no third party controls the record and there is no master copy. Synchronized copies of the blockchain are distributed and stored on computers around the world.

    Public: anyone who wants to can access the blockchain. Public keys of wallets and their transactions are made viewable so that any user can confirm that transactions are legitimate.

    Immutable: once a transaction has been entered into the record (aka: ledger), changing it or erasing it is infeasible (and nearly impossible).

  • WHAT IS A NFT?

    In the same way cryptocurrencies reinvented money, NFTs are reinventing…. Pretty much every other item we interact with (and even creating new ones!).

    Crypto tokens like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) and fiat currencies like the dollar and euro are fungible tokens. You can have one ETH and exchange it for any other ETH, or you can exchange a 100 dollar bill with any other 100 dollar bill.

    On the contrary, non-fungible tokens or NFTs are crypto tokens that represent information of unique or rare digital and real-world assets. This information stored in each NFT makes them non-interchangeable on a 1:1 basis. An NFT cannot even be divided into smaller parts like other crypto assets or fiat currencies.

    NFTs (Non Fungible Tokens) are unique or rare digital assets. They can represent anything from a digital work of art to an avatar skin, they can be a proxy for a physical object or grant you a piece of ownership to your favorite song.

    We’ll shoot straight with you, NFTs would probably feel 100% less confusing if they weren’t called Non Fungible Tokens. Consider them to be unique digital objects that you can own, welcome to the era of digital ownership.

    But the bigger, most exciting thing behind NFT adoption – and why this is so fundamentally important for the cryptocurrency industry as a whole – is linked to culture. The more we spend time online, the more our digital identities become as important as our physical ones. And this is where NFTs come into play; they're the Web3 vehicle for self expression and social currency.

  • HOW DO I CLAIM MY NFT?

    So, you’re wondering how you can get your hands on a VALACLAVA NFT, but not sure about the finer details? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered:

    2. CUSTOMIZE YOUR PRODUCT: Personalize your VALACLAVA piece with the available features or buy the hero colorway.

    3. GET YOUR NFT: Your NFT will be minted and sent right to your inbox where you can claim it.

    4. WAIT FOR YOUR UNIQUE PHYSICAL GARMENT: Your physical product will be delivered right to your doorstep in 20-25 days.

  • DO I NEED TO SET UP A NFT WALLET?

    As we begin to collect more NFTs that we love, it is important to ensure they are protected. Any cryptocurrency, including an NFT, is stored on the blockchain.

    “Owning” a crypto asset really means controlling the private key that points to that specific asset on the blockchain. This is how the record knows and displays which wallets own which NFTs or currencies. If someone gains access to your wallet they can steal your assets, and the transaction is irreversible.

    To avoid that, you should log-in and transact on any NFT marketplace by using wallets like Coinbase wallet, WalletConnect or MetaMask. When you claim your NFT you will be guided by the NOVEL team on how to set up a wallet.

  • CAN I RESELL MY NFT?

    Yes. NFTs are typically acquired from different curated platforms that specifically deal in digital assets. Open marketplaces, like OpenSea.io, are popular for buying and trading NFTs.

    You should keep in mind that once you sell your digital NFT, even if you keep the physical product, the information on the NFC tag will update with the information of the new owner. We advise you to always transfer the physical garment alongside the NFT.

  • HOW DO I READ THE TAG ON THE GARMENT?

    You can use the NFC reader feature on your phone and after that you will be guided to download the VALACLAVA app where you can check your product digital twin and passport.
  • WHAT IS THE VALACLAVA CLVN?

    VALACLAVA ultra-rare garments give you membership access to CLVN. There you will have a two-way conversation and participation on our moves. It starts with exclusive gamewear and design collabs, NFT drops, live events, and much more that will be revealed over time.

  • HOW DO I PLACE MY ORDER?

    Here’s how:

    1- Choose a product from the collection top navigation menu.

    2- Select your desired item, customize it and click Add To Bag. Once you've added all items, it's time to checkout

    3- Sign in to your account or, if you've not yet created one, continue via guest checkout

    4- Enter your address, payment method and delivery details to place your order. We'll confirm the order and it will be carefully prepared and sent to you, with updates every step of the way via email.

  • DO I NEED TO SET UP AN ACCOUNT TO ORDER SOMETHING ONLINE?

    No, all you need is an email address to place and track orders. To checkout faster, access your wish list and order updates, we recommend setting up a VALACLAVA account.

    If you create a VALACLAVA account and place an order, you'll be automatically enrolled in our VLCLV CLVN community.

  • HOW DO I CANCEL MY ORDER?

    You can not cancel your order once we start production. However, you may be able to cancel some items before we prepare your order. Head to your Orders, or if you placed an order as a guest and want to make changes, enter with your guest order details.
  • I'VE ADDED THE INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS, HOW DO I CHANGE IT?

    You may be able to edit your shipping address on Your Orders page.
  • FROM WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

    Portugal.
  • HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

    We will update you on every step of your order from production to delivery via email. You may also check the status under your Orders within your account.
  • HOW MANY DAYS DOES IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

    We don’t keep stock. All Valaclava pieces are made-to-order. Everything is produced precisely to our clients orders and it takes up to 21 days for an item to be completed and shipped.
  • WHERE DOES VALACLAVA DELIVER?

    Anywhere, really.
  • HOW MUCH DUTY AND TAX WILL I HAVE TO PAY?

    VALACLAVA ships to the following destinations on a Delivery Duties Paid (DDP) basis: European Union, The United Kingdom, USA, Canada, China Mainland, Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Singapore, Republic Of Korea, Kuwait, Mexico, Qatar, India, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan Region, Thailand, U.A.E, Japan, Brazil, Isle of Man, San Marino, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Egypt, Lebanon, Hong Kong SAR, The Canary Islands and Bahrain.

    This means that all applicable duties and taxes are included in the final price when you place your order and there are no additional costs due upon delivery.

    If a Delivery At Place (DAP) destination is selected, the price you pay to VALACLAVA will exclude all relevant import duties and sales taxes. As the recipient, you'll need to pay these directly to the courier to release your order from customs upon arrival.

    For US customers, VALACLAVA does not collect sales or use tax in all states. Your purchase may be subject to sales or use tax, unless your state is exempt from taxation. Many states require a sales/use tax return filing at the end of the year for taxable purchases that were not taxed (including internet purchases) and payment of use tax on those purchases.

  • HOW MUCH DO I PAY FOR SHIPPING?

    This varies depending on the size, weight and destination of your chosen items. The good news is we offer One Delivery Fee for orders above a certain threshold – this means you can order multiple pieces from multiple locations for one fee. You'll see the delivery fee at the checkout.
  • WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DOES VALACLAVA ACCEPT?

    We accept Paypal, credit and debit cards, and crypto (Bitcoin, Ether, USDC, DAI).
  • HOW DO I PAY WITH CRYPTO?

    Each item has a 'BUY WITH CRYPTO' option.

    Click on the link and go to check out

    Fill in your name and email.

    Then choose a cryptocurrency

    Scan the QR code with your crypto wallet or use your Coinbase or other account.

  • HOW DO I RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ITEM?

    We are unable to accept returns as customized items are created to your specification.

    You can always exchange it though within 14 days of delivery in case something is wrong with your product.

    If you want to exchange an item, you pay only for the return shipping.

  • HOW DO I RECEIVE THE LATEST INFORMATION FROM VALACLAVA?

    To stay updated on exclusive promotions, new in and early sale access, sign up to our emails. Once you join our CLVN - Discord and Telegram community - you will also have access to more exclusive information, perks and experiences.
  • HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY VALACLAVA PRODUCT?

    On to the product information page you can find the material composition and care instructions on The Details tab. Also, care instructions are carefully attached to the garments.
  • HOW FAST WILL I RECEIVE A REPLY TO MY INQUIRY?

    Within 24 hours. We are there for you!
  • WILL MY VALACLAVA FAVORITES BE RESTOCKED?

    Our garments are super rare. They last the units indicated. Once we sell the whole series of garments - 300 for the drops and 1000 for the Infinity - the design will be gone forever.
  • WHAT SIZE SHOULD I ORDER?

    View our size conversion charts by selecting Size Guide, which you can find above the select size menu, on the product information page.
  • WHERE CAN I FIND THE MEASUREMENTS OF THE CLOTHES?

    Go to the product information page and select the Size & Fit tab to view the size, fit, cut and model measurements.
